Working with us
We see the role of educational psychologists as supporting all areas of education. We also believe that educational psychologists offer a range of skills, knowledge and experience which are valuable and distinctive within education.
Although we provide individual assessments and consultations across all ability levels, we are particularly interested in promoting a greater understanding of the wide range of skills that our profession can offer in the area of whole school development. This can include training; assessing, tracking and supporting the academic, social and emotional development of children and staff; developing teaching skills; assessing and refining whole school management; clarifying whole school ethos; publicising and using psychological methods and materials; sharing psychological evidence and good practice and helping schools implement government policy, procedures and initiatives.
If you’re a Chartered educational psychologist, with a strong commitment to providing a warm, friendly, comprehensive and professional service then you're welcome to get in touch and register your interest without obligation. You can download our registration form by clicking here. Alternatively, you can use the Contact us page to inform us that you'd like to register, and we will send the registration form out to you.
Our registration form will allow you to highlight and explain the areas you'd like to offer and develop, and we can include these in the relevant section of the site. You can choose from a number of options including:
- Offering a training package, specialism or resource to schools and organisations.
- Setting up, managing and completing whole school work.
- Undertaking commissioned individual work. This can include email, telephone, family and school based consultations, psychological assessments and collaborative working with other professionals.
- Completing psychological advice to inform school placements or for commissioned statutory work.
We hope that educational psychologists can use EdPsychs to further develop their existing interests and expertise, and actively promote our profession. In turn we will publicise the services of educational psychologists, help set up appointments, negotiate fees and collect those fees in advance of any agreed work.
